There are four history related examinations as part of the CLEP series:
History of the United States I - Early Coloniztions to 1877
History of the United States II - 1865 to the Present
Western Civilization I - Ancient Near East to 1648
Western Civilization II - 1648 to the Present

Exam type:
CLEP: 120 multiple choice questions in 90 minutes
Typical credits: 3 units
GRE: The information contained in these four subjects form part of the GRE examination in History -- 220 multiple choice questions
Typical credit: 3 units each exam

The Study Guides in History have been subdivided into units and incorporate links to Video on Demand lectures provided by the Annenberg/CPB Channel which are available to those with broadband connections.
