Free University Project - Career Guidance

What are you going to be when you grow up?
How do you know you will be making the right choices?
How do you make a plan to keep yourself on track?
What kind of education will you need? Where will you get it?
Who will pay for it?
Can you find work where you are, or will you have to move?
What about mid-life career changes? Where can you go for help?

The West Bend Community Career Network has developed a site that helps you answer those questions.

Browse the WBCNN Main Menu, to see what they have to offer. Make sure you check out their Planning and Career Test pages.

Obviously some of the pages deal with resources local to West Bend. However, most cities have similar resources and the West Bend page will give you an idea of contacts in your area.

We will be adding other related sites and welcome any of your suggestions, comments, experiences.

See also other Free University Project pages:

  • Free College Prep Online -- links to sites that help you improve vocabulary, grammar, writing, and study skills before you attend classes.
  • Computer Training-- links to tutorials to help you learn about computer basics, the Internet, e-mail, building Web pages, and typical office software (word processors, spread sheet, data bases, etc.).

[{NOTE: Other Career and Training Centers across the country can use the West Bend page as a guide, adding local resources and basic training pages.]
